Updated Document Requirements for Nigeria

Thursday | August 9, 2018 | by WES Advisor

WES document requirements Nigeria

On August 3, 2018, WES modified the document requirements for Nigerian credential evaluations.

Going forward, WES applicants must submit their high school documents in order to have their credentials evaluated for post-secondary study in Nigeria.

If you submitted a WES application (and received a WES Reference Number) prior to August 3, 2018, then this change does not affect you. WES will contact you by email if additional documents are required.

In the meantime, you can monitor the status of your documents and credential evaluation through My Account.

Who Does This Change Affect?

This change affects all WES applicants who studied at a post-secondary institution in Nigeria and applied for a credential evaluation on or after August 3, 2018.

If you fall into this category, it means that you must have your secondary school documents sent to WES. Your high school records themselves will not be evaluated; however, they are now required as a point of reference to evaluate your post-secondary credentials.
