Credential Evaluation Requirements

If you already have a Document-by-Document or the Course-by-Course evaluation report, you will need to order an ‘Additional Report’ for CMA:

1. Login to MyAccount.
2. Order Additional Report and select ‘Licensing’ as the purpose.
3. Add CMA as a Recipient of your evaluation report.
4. Pay the applicable fee.
5. Final Report: CMA will have electronic access to your evaluation report and the associated academic documents.

If you already have a WES account and evaluation report, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry Program, and need a Document-by-Document evaluation report for CMA purposes:

1. Login to MyAccount.
2. Upgrade your ECA to Document-by-Document evaluation report and select ‘Licensing’ as the purpose of evaluation report. You will receive a new WES Reference Number which is linked to your ECA file.
3. Add CMA as a Recipient of your evaluation report.
4. Pay the applicable fee.
5. Monitor Application Status in MyAccount; since you already have an ECA, WES may ask for additional academic documents.
6. Receive Final Report. The evaluation report will be mailed to you, and CMA will have an electronic access to your evaluation report and the associated academic documents.

1. Create a new WES Account: Visit Create a WES Account, select Canada, and choose a WES Standard Application.
2. Select Evaluation Type: Choose Document-by-Document (ICAP) and ‘Licensing’ as the purpose of evaluation report.
3. Add CMA as a Recipient of your evaluation report.
4. Submit Application, Pay and Obtain a Reference Number: Once your application is submitted, you’ll receive a WES Reference Number.
5. Submit Academic Documents: Follow WES’s Country-Specific Document Requirements and arrange for your academic documents to be sent directly to WES. Certain academic documents can be uploaded to MyAccount.
6. Monitor Application Status: Log in to WES MyAccount to track updates. WES will contact you if additional documents are required.
7. Receive Final Report: The evaluation report will be mailed to you, and CMA will have electronic access to your evaluation report and the associated academic documents.
