Credential Evaluation Requirements

CPHR Manitoba
Achieve HR Excellence. Become a CPHR.
CPHR Manitoba is the sole certifying body in Manitoba for the nationally recognized Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.
The CPHR designation signifies that an individual has achieved and continues to actively demonstrate mastery of the CPHR Competency Framework. Through a national examination and assessment process, each CPHR designate must demonstrate the core competencies relevant to the HR profession.
Use this guide to determine the credential evaluation required for your pathway to obtaining the CPHR designation.
If you are unsure of your pathway or hold chartered status with SHRM, CIPD, CIPM-Nigeria or CIPM-Sri Lanka and are interested in the Mutual Recognition Process, please contact CPHR Manitoba’s Member Services using the details on CPHR Manitoba’s website here prior to submitting your WES application.
What you need to do:
-
Select Canada for your evaluation.
-
Select WES Standard Application.
-
Add the “CPHR Manitoba” as a recipient.
-
Select WES ICAP Course-by-Course as the evaluation type if you plan to use your international education to meet the NKE educational requirement. This evaluation is mandatory for the NKE and can also support your VOE assessment.
-
Select WES ICAP Document-by-Document as the evaluation type if you plan to use your international education to verify your pathway for the VOE assessment only.
(Note: If you already have a WES application or evaluation report for immigration purposes, it must be upgraded to a WES Document-by-Document or Course-by-Course evaluation.)
Follow the country-specific document requirements and arrange for your documents to be delivered to WES.
What WES will do for you:
-
Verify your academic records.
-
Prepare an official credential evaluation.
-
Deliver your evaluation report and verified copies of your transcripts directly to CPHR Manitoba.
