Academic Requirements
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree. Obtaining a master’s degree would make you eligible for careers with greater responsibility and higher salaries in this pathway, if you do not already have the U.S. equivalent of a master’s degree.

Certification is not required, but could make employers more likely to hire you or offer you a higher salary.
Photogrammetrists may be eligible for the Certified Photogrammetric Technologist or Certified Photogrammetrist credentials from the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) if you have 3 or 6 years of related work experience.
