WES CREDENTIAL EVALUATION PACKAGES
WES offers two types of credential evaluation packages – Basic and ICAP.
Basic WES prepares a credential evaluation report which explains how your international education compares with the U.S. system.
WES ICAP (International Credential Advantage Package) Transcript delivery with your evaluation report plus permanent storage of your records
This package gives you the convenience of sending your evaluation report and verified academic
transcripts in one comprehensive package to any educational institution, at anytime, even many years later.

With either package, your evaluation is completed and mailed within 7 business days – once your application, all required documents and payment have been received. WES evaluates your formal academic credentials, regardless of the number or complexity.
Types of Credential Evaluation Reports
WES offers three types of evaluations. (In case you do not know the type of evaluation that you require, please check with the institution, agency, or employer to which you will submit the report.)

1. Course-by-Course Report (Sample)
A Course-by-Course evaluation identifies and describes each diploma or certificate, indicates the periods of education, provides an equivalency for each document, lists all courses (subjects) with U.S. semester credits, and gives a grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.
This is the evaluation report you should order for:
- Education (to apply for an advanced degree or transfer credit. See below for high school education evaluations.)
- Professional licensing
- Professional certification
2. Document-by-Document Report (Sample)
A Document-by-Document evaluation identifies and describes each diploma or certificate, indicates periods of education, and provides an equivalency for each document.
This is the evaluation report you should order for:
- Education (high school credentials evaluation only)
- Employment
- Immigration
3. CPA Board Evaluation
For those applying for state Certified Public Accounting exams.
