What you need to do:

Follow the steps below to complete your WES Application.

  1. Apply for a credential evaluation and select U.S. for your application.
  2. Select “Education” as the purpose of evaluation and “Graduate Admissions” as
    the level of education.
  3. Enter all credentials you have earned. Please note that WES does not evaluate
short international summer or winter programs (e.g., one-semester programs).
  4. Add Columbia University as Recipient from the drop down menu, followed by
Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and Office of Graduate Admissions.
  5. Select the WES Course by Course (ICAP) evaluation type. Note: If you have a
prior WES report, you must add WES ICAP to your evaluation report. Select
your payment option and submit the application to obtain your WES reference
    number.
  6. Follow the country-specific document requirements and arrange for your
documents to be delivered to WES as specified.
  7. Upload photocopies of your diploma/degree certificate(s) and any English
translations. You can log in later to do this, but you must complete this step
before your official transcripts are received.
  8. Contact your institution(s) and request that they send your official documents
electronically to WES. Sending your academic documents digitally can expedite
the completion of your report. Find out if your institution has a digital
partnership with WES, or encourage them to get started today
