International DEGREE Verification
for USC Students

The University of Southern California (USC) has selected World Education Services (WES) to verify non-U.S. degrees for students who have been admitted for Graduate studies starting in the fall of 2007.

Applying to WES:

Because WES has developed a special report for USC, you must download and use the special WES-USC application form, and submit it to WES with your payment of $100, which can be made by credit card, check or money order. Please refer only to the information and forms that are provided via this special web page created for USC students. Do not use the forms or online application found on the main WES website.

If you elect to use the WES degree verification report option*, WES will issue a report confirming the validity and completion of your degree in accordance with USC requirements. This WES report is solely for the use of USC, and neither WES nor USC will provide this report to you or anyone else.

Submitting Your Credentials to WES:

As soon as you have completed your studies and/or final degree examinations you must request that your home institution send your credentials directly to WES. To be accepted, the documents must indicate that the degree has been formally awarded. WES provides specific document requirements for your country of education, as well as an “International Transcript Request” form with the application to help simplify this process. All documents submitted become the property of WES.

If you have any questions regarding specific documentation requirements please visit the WES Required Documents page or contact the WES Academic Services department at usc@wes.org or by calling 212-219-7300, ext. 7968.
