Academic Requirements
Typically requires whatever degree was required for licensure in your country of education and legal practice. Obtaining a U.S. Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree would allow you to work as an attorney at law.

As of 2016, licensure is required in all 33 states where the practice of Foreign Legal Consultants is allowed, as well as the District of Columbia.
