WES continually to adapt and enhance its offerings to assist applicants pursuing their academic, career, and immigration goals in the United States and Canada. We’ve compiled five important things for you to know—from new partnerships we’ve established to expanded resources—about WES credential evaluations in 2025.  

1. Electronic Document Submission

In recent years, many institutions have opted to submit documents to WES electronically. When it’s time to send your academic documents to WES, be sure to check if your institution can send them electronically. Electronic transmission is the most secure way to send documents, and it makes the credential evaluation process more efficient.

If your institution does not already have a digital partnership with WES, you can ask the registrar or another authority at the institution to complete our Digital Partnership Form. 2. Lifetime Value of a Credential Evaluation

Our Document-by-Document and Course-by-Course credential evaluation reports never expire. As you progress over time in your education and career, your report can be used to support your résumé and applications for school and employment. Learn why a WES evaluation is a lasting investment.
 

3. Partnerships to Support Document Submission

To streamline our application process, WES has established partnerships with Qualification Check (QC) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), QC is our specialist verification partner and will work directly with your educational institution to verify and submit your required documents to WES. For applicants with credentials earned in India, NSDC supports the evaluation process by enabling the secure transfer of verified academic documents from Indian institutions to WES. Learn more about our partnership with NSDC. 

4. Credential Evaluation Resources and Guidance

We offer a variety of free resources designed to guide you through your WES application and help you understand the value of a credential evaluation. Subscribe to our YouTube channel to view several informative videos that answer common questions about credential evaluation and the WES process.

5. WES Verification Report for New Zealand

Are you considering a move to New Zealand? If you have received university degrees, diploma certificates, or similar credentials in another country, the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) requires you to provide proof of authenticity of your academic credentials.
