WES is the largest academic credential evaluation service in the United States and a
recognized authority in the field of international credential evaluation. Since its inception
in 1974, WES has evaluated the credentials for 350,000 individuals from virtually every
country in the world.
WES evaluations are accepted, and often requested by hundreds of U.S. academic institutions, as
well as by licensing and certification boards, major corporations, and government
agencies such as the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
WES's staff of trained credential evaluators are familiar with educational systems throughout the world. WES maintains its own extensive database with tens of thousands of international institutions, credentials and equivalencies, as well as a comprehensive library. WES conducts ongoing research to keep its database and files up-to-date and to ensure that our expertise and information resources are second to none.
WES is a not-for profit organization and a founding member of NACES (The National
Association of Credential Evaluation Services).
