The Brazilian government has announced a new initiative to award 75,000 scholarships to students choosing to study abroad, and admissions offices are preparing for the significant increase in applicants from this emerging market. To assist you and your colleagues in making the best admissions decisions for your institution, this webinar will provide an introductory overview of academic credentials from Brazil. You will learn what commonly issued academic credentials from Brazil look like, as well as receive a summary of the system of education and documents you may encounter when working with students from the region.

Carlos Monroy, Group Manager at World Education Services. Carlos Monroy has been evaluating international academic credentials at World Education Services (WES) since 2006. He has previously presented his research at various national and international conferences including the Association of International Educators (NAFSA), the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals (NAGAP) and the Consortium for North American Higher Education Collaboration (CONAHEC). Mr. Monroy earned his MA in international relations from City University of New York.
