Frequently Asked Questions
Will I receive a copy of the presentation?
Yes – all approved webinar participants receive a recording of the webinar and copy of both the PowerPoint presentation and any documents discussed within two weeks of the webinar date. Please add kre@wes.org to your address book to ensure that you will receive your recording.
Do you cover authentic credentials?
Yes – any webinar that mentions "credentials" in the title will cover authentic academic credentials during the presentation. Approved participants will also receive a copy of any credentials discussed.
Will I be able to ask the presenter specific questions?
Yes – due to the large number of attendees, webinar participants are muted throughout the presentation. However, you are able to type out your question and send it to the presenter using the Webex chat box. He or she will then answer it during the Q&A portion at the end of the presentation.
What will I need to view and listen to the presentation?
You will need a computer and a telephone with the following:
- Computer minimum requirements
Windows:
- Windows 98, Me, NT, 2000, or XP
- Intel Pentium, 266 MHz
- 64 MB available RAM
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later, or Netscape 7 or later
- JavaScript and cookies must be enabled in the browser
- 56K or faster Internet connection

Macintosh:
- Macintosh OS 10.2 or later
- 64 MB available RAM
- Safari (recommended), Microsoft IE 5.2 or later, or Netscape 7
- Java, Javascript, and cookies must be enabled in the browser
- 56K or faster Internet connection
- Basic telephone, cell phone or smart phone with long distance capacity, and a speaker phone if you are planning to view the webinar with a group.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONNECT TO THE AUDIO PORTION BY USB HEADPHONES THROUGH YOUR COMPUTER.
Why was my registration rejected?
WES Knowledge Resource Exchange Webinars are available to any participant representing client institutions and accredited schools. Registrations not from these are subject to moderation and may be rejected. To reduce confusion, we encourage all registrants to use their .edu or .org email addresses when registering. If you feel that your registration was unfairly rejected, please email kre@wes.org.
