Egypt
The new school, which could open as early as October 2002, hopes to emulate the success of the American University in Cairo,Egypt's most prestigious institution of higher learning. The university eventually will offer courses and programs in most academic disciplines, but the initial curriculum will focus on engineering, management and information technology.
