Webinar: Understanding Credential Evaluation
April 11th, 2:00pm - 3:00pm EST

In this interactive webinar, WES Global Talent Bridge will provide a comprehensive overview of the process of foreign credential evaluation in the U.S. The session will give immigrant service providers a broader understanding of how to advise students and/or clients looking to use their foreign education to find employment, obtain professional licensure, or further their education. The facilitators will also introduce a variety of resources and tools designed to help service providers better understand the needs of their foreign educated clients.

This training session, conducted in partnership with the Literacy Assistance Center, will introduce a new toolkit designed to aid ESL practitioners with the challenges of serving skilled immigrants in the classroom. The training will present the various barriers facing skilled immigrants as they seek to integrate into academic and professional settings in the U.S. and identify key challenges that educators face when working with highly-skilled students in mixed classroom settings.
