Pathways to Successful Integration for Skilled Immigrants
WES is committed to helping newcomers overcome the barriers that often prevent them from fully leveraging their skills and talents in the U.S. To that end, WES is launching a new effort to strengthen its partnerships with community-based organizations, employers, academic institutions and government agencies that support the professional integration of skilled immigrants.
For individuals, WES provides evaluation reports that immigrants can use to demonstrate their academic achievements, as well as online Resources for Immigrants that offer clear advice and links to the best available online resources and community programs.
WES outreach activities devoted to immigrant integration take many forms, including:
Pathways to Success Seminars – WES conducts seminars and information meetings designed to help immigrants utilize their academic credentials and connect with community organizations, academic programs and training opportunities that can help them achieve their goals. These seminars are often conducted in collaboration with WES community partners.
