Assessment and Promotion:
Students are continuously assessed through coursework and written and oral examinations. Examinations are given at the end of each term. If the student does not pass the examination on the first attempt, the examination can be retaken before the beginning of the next term. If the student fails a second time, their academic record is assessed to determine if the child should continue their education, repeat the term, or be dropped. School examinations at the primary level are the responsibility of provincial education authorities.
