LOWER SECONDARY EDUCATION


Lower secondary education includes grades 5 through 9.  Upon completion of lower secondary education, students receive the Certificate of Incomplete General Secondary Education.

ASSESSMENT AND PROMOTION
Students are regularly assessed throughout lower secondary school through coursework, examinations, projects, and oral presentations.
 
GRADING SCALE
Students are assessed using a grading scale from one to five; five is the highest grade and three, the lowest passing grade.
