LOWER SECONDARY EDUCATION

Much like the elementary stage, the lower secondary stage is also divided into cycles, with the first being the adaptation cycle (6th class), then the central cycle (4th and 5th class) and the finally the orientation cycle (3rd class). It is important to note that the classes at this level are numbered in reverse order (i.e. the first year of secondary education is the 6th class, the second year is the 5th class etc.).
