Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials
The Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (CICIC) collects, organizes, and distributes information, and acts as a national clearing house and referral service to support the recognition and portability of Canadian and international educational and occupational qualifications.
CICIC was established after Canada ratified the UNESCO Convention on the Recognition of Studies, Diplomas and Degrees concerning Higher Education in the States belonging to the Europe Region, in 1990, to assist Canada in carrying out its obligations under the terms of this convention. The convention promotes international mobility by advocating wider recognition of higher education and professional qualifications.
CICIC is a unit of the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), an intergovernmental body founded in 1967 by ministers of education to provide leadership in education at the pan-Canadian and international levels, and to contribute to the fulfillment of the constitutional responsibility for education conferred on provinces and territories.
The Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada
The Alliance is made up of credential assessment services from across Canada. Alliance members provide a variety of clients — such as employers, professional regulatory bodies and educational institutions — with the assistance they require and the quality assurance they demand in assessing the credentials of prospective applicants.
Members of the Alliance undergo a rigorous self-evaluation process including a review of assessment procedures, experience, file management, personnel qualifications, documentation methods and reference material base. To qualify for Alliance membership, an assessment service must demonstrate that it complies with established quality standards and must agree to maintain those standards.
Alliance membership is your assurance of excellence. It tells you that the evaluation service you've retained offers the most effective, accurate and efficient method for evaluating foreign qualifications. Alliance members are committed to upholding the highest level of service.

Career Bridge
The Career Bridge paid internship program, operated by Career Edge Organization, is designed to help address the dilemma internationally qualified professionals face of "no Canadian experience, no job; no job, no Canadian experience."
Career Bridge paid internship positions are mid-level professional positions designed to provide interns with meaningful Canadian work experience within a broad spectrum of non-regulated business functions including finance, marketing, IT, HR and engineering in the private, public and non-profit sectors.
Prospective candidates are required to present an evaluation report from WES or another agency.
Graduate Internship Programs
Graduate Internship Programs helps graduates launch their career, while benefiting companies. They place university and college graduates
on a paid internship, where there is a full time job opening. Internships help graduates secure the much needed experience they
require to launch their career. Internships help companies to save money while trying a loyal graduate who comes to them with no bad
habits, high energy, dedication and no resistance to change or corporate culture.
Over 90% of the graduates placed over the past ten years have received a full time job offer. Over 55% of the Interns become first
or second level managers within 3 to 4 years and over 92% are still with the same company they interned with. Long term loyalty in a
world where most people change jobs every few years is a tremendous asset to employers. Candidates with international academic credentials are encouraged to provide WES evaluation reports to the Program and to the participating employers.
