Information for the Ontario Institute of Agrologists
The Ontario Institute of Agrologists (OIA) requires that applicants who have completed their education outside of Canada and seek licensure as a professional agrologist, get their transcripts evaluated by World Education Services (WES). Credential evaluation means converting foreign academic credentials into their Canadian education equivalents.
Applicants are asked to get a course-by-course evaluation. This report provides a breakdown of all post-secondary study in terms of Canadian credits, equivalents and grade point averages (GPAs). However, the OIA Board reserves the right to apply their own evaluation criteria. The evaluation will be sent directly to OIA by WES. In your WES application, indicate that the second copy of the evaluation (after your own) should be sent to the OIA office.
