Information for the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists

The Manitoba Institute of Agrologists (MIA) requires that applicants who have completed their education outside of Canada get their transcripts evaluated by World Education Services (WES). Credential evaluation means converting foreign academic credentials into their Canadian education equivalents.

Applicants are asked to get a course-by-course evaluation. This report provides a breakdown of all post-secondary study in terms of Canadian credits, equivalents and grade point averages (GPAs). The evaluation will be sent directly to MIA by WES. In your WES application, indicate that the second copy of the evaluation (after your own) should be sent to the MIA office.
