Why verify credentials?
As a licensing professional, you know the biggest hurdle in evaluating international credentials
is verifying document authenticity. We can help. You can start by specifying WES education credential evaluations
as the standard for your candidates. Unlike other credential evaluation services, each and every WES evaluation is
based on documents that have been verified. In addition, images of these verified credentials are forwarded to
the licensing bodies via WES's secure online AccessWES delivery system.
WES verifies academic credentials by one of the following methods: by requiring that official transcripts be sent to WES directly by the institutions or examination bodies that issued them; or by requiring that official transcripts be verified by the relevant government authority (e.g., Ministry of Education) before being sent directly to WES; or by verifying documents submitted by individuals by sending them back to the institution/examination bodies that issued them and obtaining a written confirmation of their authenticity
Professional licensing bodies can receive these verified academic transcripts by advising candidates to order the WES ICAP: International Credential Advantage Package.
WES has access to international educational systems, institutions and programs, and years of experience in dealing with officials and students overseas. The information here may help you understand how international institutions and their programs can be authenticated and assessed.
