Federal Government Pledges $10 million for International Students The Government of Canada announced a new plan to invest $10 million a year for five years to assist international students wanting to study in Canada. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will be expanding two key initiatives which will allow international students further flexibility for employment while completing their studies in Canada.
