WES Mission
World Education Services (WES) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing accurate and reliable evaluations of international academic credentials. Our mission is to facilitate the integration of internationally educated individuals into the employment and education environment of their newly adopted country.
Since 1974, WES is North America’s leading resource of information and insight on international education and credentials. As the largest and one of the oldest credential evaluation services, WES has helped educators improve their overseas recruitment, and streamline their admissions costs and procedures. More than 2,500 academic institutions in the U.S. and Canada rely on WES for trusted and accurate research and intelligence.
WES produces approximately 60,000 evaluations annually, 10,000 of which are for Canada. More than ever, employers are using WES reports with the assurance that their hires have the education background to meet the demand for skilled workers.
WES is a member of the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC).
